Welcome, Hofstra.
Before your session, take 5 minutes with Otto, our intake assistant. He'll ask what you do, what frustrates you, and what you'd want from an AI workshop. Chris reads every conversation and walks in with a session built around your answers, not a preset agenda.
Five quick things before you start
- 01 Take five minutes.
No timer, no rush. Otto paces the conversation and will wrap when he has what he needs.
- 02 Be specific.
Real examples beat general statements. "Writing recruit follow-up emails takes me 30 minutes each" tells Chris more than "I spend a lot of time on email."
- 03 Be honest about your AI experience.
Never used it? Tried it once? Use it daily? There's no wrong answer. Otto asks so Chris can pitch the session at the right level for the room.
- 04 Tell Otto what a win looks like.
What would you want to walk away able to do differently on Monday morning? That's the answer that shapes the whole session.
- 05 Student athletes, it's not just about your sport.
Your interactions and examples don't have to be about the sport you play. What you're studying is fair game too: coursework, essays, research, deadlines, exam prep. Whatever eats your time.
